Terms of Service & Academic Agreement
Effective Date: October 18, 2026 • Last Updated: October 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, registering for, or using the Homework Hub platform (accessible at homeworkhub and related subdomains), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our associated Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.
If you are using the service on behalf of an educational institution, school district, or university, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that institution to these Terms.
2. Permitted Educational Use
Homework Hub is designed and maintained exclusively for educational, instructional, and classroom purposes. Users agree to:
- Use the platform in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws.
- Maintain legitimate academic integrity and avoid uploading harmful, abusive, harassing, or sexually explicit content.
- Refrain from launching automated scraping scripts, denial-of-service attacks, reverse-engineering attempts, or circumvention of security filters.
3. Intellectual Property & Content Ownership
Educator Sovereignty: Teachers retain 100% intellectual copyright and ownership of all curriculum materials, original questions, rubrics, and answer keys they create on Homework Hub. Homework Hub claims no proprietary ownership over teacher-authored coursework.
Student Submissions: Students (or their respective guardians) retain ownership of their original answers, written reflections, and canvas artwork. Submissions are stored solely to facilitate teacher grading and student feedback.
Platform IP: The Homework Hub brand, code architecture, UI components, Clef AI assistant design, and visual styling are the exclusive intellectual property of platform creator Ceman Dejamo Tudlasan.
4. AI Assistance & Automated Scoring Disclaimer
The Clef AI assistant and automated question verification tools are provided as instructional aids. While our models strive for high accuracy and alignment with teacher keys, automated AI outputs should never replace professional educator discernment.
Teachers maintain ultimate authority and responsibility for student grades, score adjustments, report cards, and academic standing.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
Homework Hub is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. While we strive for 99.9% uptime, we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or immune from local network interruptions.
Under no circumstances shall Homework Hub or its creator be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from lost internet connections, accidental data loss, or server downtime.
